Looking to get plugged into the Blue North network? Schedule a 30-min Wayfinding meeting with a member of our team! These meetings are meant to quickly assess your top three needs and get you connected to the resources to fill them. Due to COVID-19, ALL Wayfinding Meetings are virtual.
Unlike our Wayfinding Meetings, Office Hours sessions provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to deep-dive into specific topics, including business models, customer discovery, testing ideas for new products and services, marketing strategy, investor pitch decks, and using technology to streamline and scale their businesses. Use the links below to schedule an Office Hours session with our team. Due to COVID-19, ALL Office Hours sessions are virtual.
To fulfill its goal of providing companies in the region with greater access to capital. Blue North hosts ad-hoc in-person and virtual Office Hours for angel and VC funds looking for deal flow. The investors in our network are located throughout the U.S. in Cincinnati, Columbus, Chattanooga, New York, and San Francisco, to name a few. Submit your company information for upcoming in-person and virtual Investor Office Hours. If your company is a match for the investors in our network, then we'll reach out with the next steps.
Blue North has partnered with the nationally-recognized CO.STARTERS program to expand early entrepreneurship education in Northern Kentucky. The nine-week business boot camp gives local business owners an approachable curriculum and tools to further develop their business ideas with the support of fellow “Starters” and experienced entrepreneurs in their communities. Hosted in partnership with InterALLIANCE Greater Cincinnati, Startup Saturday is a high-energy, fast-paced, two-day event where NKY students work in “Squads” with 2-3 professional creatives who serve as Coaches. Coaches help their Squads complete and pitch creative and tech-based projects that solve real challenges faced by local small businesses and startups. Project examples include mobile app designs, one-page websites, logos, and social media and marketing campaigns. We end the weekend with a “Shark Tank” style pitch contest, where students present their projects to a panel of judges for a chance to win one of three prize packages.
